Introduced in 2008, the Rogue is Nissans compact crossover aimed at young family buyers. Built on the Nissan C platform, which provides high body stiffness, the Rogue is a front engine, front-wheel-drive vehicle with optional all-wheel drive. The standard 4-wheel independent suspension gives a balance of ride comfort and driving stability and all Rogues come standard with power-assisted front and rear vented disc brakes with ABS, Electronic Brake Force Distribution and Brake Assist. With styling that resembles the Murano crossover SUV, the Rogue?s performance-oriented exterior has sleek, masculine styling with powerful rear shoulder lines. Inside, the Rogue is a driver-oriented cockpit that offers excellent visibility and a number of standard safety features for protection. The Rogue received a styling upgrade in the 2011 model year.

Whats New: The 2009 Nissan Rogue remains primarily unchanged, having just been introduced to the Nissan lineup in 2008. Upgrades for the 2009 Nissan Rogue include new speed-sensing door locks; fold-down front passenger seat and a dual-level center console tray. The SL gets new mood lighting, a trip computer and outside temperature display; two luggage side cargo hooks and dual visor vanity mirror illumination. The Leather Package option is now available for Rogue FWD SL models while Bluetooth and Nissans Intelligent Key is added to the Rogue FWD Premium Package.
